I decided to try this blog thing out. I'm an avid reader of On the Upside, a blog written by the mother of two of my very good friends. She's very witty and quite hilarious at times. Its amazing all the people who read her blog and comment daily. I don't really expect anyone to ever read this, especially considering I don't have very many interesting things happen to me on a day-to-day basis.
I suppose I will use this entry to tell a little bit about myself for the rare straggler who wonders by and is bored enough to read this. I'm a senior in high school, planning to attend A&M University next fall. I played varsity basketball but that ended in early February so my short-lived career is over. I love photography and attempt to take decent pictures from time to time. I generally don't watch television, which is weird for a teenager I suppose.
Well that is my short "about me" part for those of you who were wondering. From here on out I'll try my hand at witty, interesting topic filled blogs. But if I fail, who will really know?
Oh, here's one of my photos
Well, well, well - look at you!!!! I JUST LOVE IT!!! I know several teens that have blogs that I visit and I'm a big fan of the teen blog!! I'm glad you decided to do this. Keep it until you go to A&M - it will be a great way for all of your friends and family to see what's going on with you should you decide to post stories and photos! And, it can just be a great way to document your life and your photos - regardless of who reads. I'm proud of you and --- btw - that photo is great!! Can't wait to see your next post!
ReplyDeleteSee you - Kellan

ReplyDeleteLove your picture! Welcome to the wonderful world of blogging!!!
ReplyDeleteHey Becca! Guess who sent me? :)
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the blogging world; you're going to love it! As a teen (way, way, WAY back when)I started journaling after having it as an English assignment; I loved it and kept up the pen and paper version right up until the time I started my own blog. It's a great way to document where you're at in your life, keep family up-to-date with you, and as a creative outlet. What was so unexpected for me was the very, very good blogging friends I have made; THAT is the best part of blogging. :)
I'll definitely be back, Becca!
